Welcome to the City Lights Beauty Agency FAQ section! We know that choosing the right makeup services can be an important decision, whether it’s for your wedding day, a special event, or just to feel your best. That’s why we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive from our clients.

Hours of Operation

Office / Call Center (EST):

Call Center Hours: Mon-Sat 9AM-5PM, Sun: Closed

Extended Hours:

Email / text support is available 7 days a week (with the exception of observed holidays). Please email [email protected] or text ‪813.945.6386 if outside our call center hours (for assistance as soon as possible)

Online Booking:

Book Securely Online 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Appointments scheduled less than 24 hours in advance are not guaranteed.

Appointment Hours / Fees:

Appointments are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day (with the exception of observed holidays)

Before / After Hours Appointment Fees Outside of 8am-7:30pm:

$100 per artist/stylist

City Lights Beauty Agency is available for client services 365 days a year, however, we do have the following hours / charges for observed holidays. Services need to be prepaid in full 24 hours prior to service date/time. Parking fees will be due upon completion of services (and paid directly to your artist)

Appointment Fees / Hours:

New Years Day: $50/artist

Valentines Day: $25/artist

Easter: $25/artist

4th of July: $25/artist

Halloween: No Fee (services available until 4PM)

Thanksgiving: $75/artist

Christmas Eve: $25/artist (services available until 4PM)

Christmas Day: $75/artist

New Years Eve: $50/artist (services available until 5PM)

Office Hours (PST):

4th of July: CLOSED

How do I book?

We make booking easy and secure via our website. Click “Book Online” to view our service menu and book an appointment securely via our website

We take a $50 retainer down, which is applied towards your services

Remaining Balances are due upon completion (unless otherwise specified for larger groups / balances / special event dates)

There is only (1) $50 retainer due per booking, whether you’re booking services just for yourself or a groupilique quisquam et deserunt, recusandae.

How do I know if my date and time is available?

At City Lights Beauty Agency, we operate as a talent agency representing a large team of professional artists. We encourage you to make your reservation online – as most date/time slots can be accommodated. However, in the event that your date/time is not available – you will be contacted by an agent with available time slots for your date.

Please note, we cannot guarantee availability for services scheduled within 24 hours. For urgent reservations, please contact us [email protected]

Can I book a last minute appointment?

You can book an appointment securely online (up to 24 hours prior to your date/time).

Ho do I provide hotel room numbers or location information?

For Clients Staying at Hotels:

Upon check in to your hotel, please email us @ [email protected] with your hotel room information (and specific tower/elevator if applicable). If we have any questions, we will contact you via phone or email

Prior to your scheduled appointment, please have your cell phone close to you. We will provide your cell phone number to your artist (s) that will be arriving for your appointment. Sometimes the artist (s) may need to contact you prior to your appointment, to meet them downstairs or at the selected elevator (if they are having trouble accessing your hotel room)

For Clients Staying at a Private Estate (with an address):

Please email us at [email protected] if there is a gate code needed or you need to provide specific instructions with accessing your location/address

Prior to your scheduled appointment, please have your cell phone close to you. We will provide your cell phone number to your artist (s) that will be arriving for your appointment. Sometimes the artist (s) may need to contact you prior to your appointment if they are having trouble accessing your location/address

Do you offer makeup classes?

Yes, we offer both group and one-on-one makeup classes that cater to all skill levels. Check our ‘Classes’ section for upcoming dates and details.

What safety measures do you implement regarding COVID-19?

Your safety is our priority. We adhere to strict sanitization protocols and follow all local health guidelines to ensure our clients’ well-being.

How much for makeup?

Since every event is unique, we will need more information in order to provide you with the most accurate quote. Can you tell us if this is for a wedding or an individual makeup booking?

Do you do airbrush?

Yes! Did you know there are 3 different airbrush formulas? Water based, silicone based and water proof.

Is there a place I would come to?

You can come to us or we can come to you for bookings. Consultations can be done over the phone. Want to learn more about our airbrush options as well? Did you know there are 3 different airbrush formulas?

How much are the consultations? I have never had airbrushed makeup before

Phone consultations are complimentary. To book a makeup preview or hair preview it is $175 for makeup OR $175 for hair with a senior artist.

Do you do makeup for prom?

Yes, we offer both makeup and hair styling services for prom!

How much for makeup and hair for a photoshoot?

Non-bridal makeup and hair is $350. We also offer half day and full day services which include unlimited look changes and touch ups!

are lashes included?

Yes! Lashes are always included! We never charge extra for anything other companies may consider upgrades.

What time are you available?

You can call us from 8am to 7pm

Where are you located?

Home office is Tampa but we have artists in Chicago, Dallas, NYC and LA to name a few! Take a moment to fill out our contact form so we can check your area!

Do you travel?

Yes, we travel anywhere in USA.

Do you offer makeup classes?

Yes we offer make up classes.

How long does hair and makeup take?

We like to allow 2 hours for both hair and makeup.
